About Census Dates


This unit is focused on identifying and exploiting the commercial potential of your product, process or service. It consists of an integrated examination of how intellectual property, market opportunity, risk management and a business model are combined to create commercial value. Topics include the commercialisation process from intellectual curiosity to commercial success, what constitutes intellectual property and what steps should be taken to protect it, the role of market research and marketing strategy, risk identification and risk management, and the elements that constitute a business model.

WEIGHT: 12.5%


Project 50%, Pitch (presentation) 25%, IDEAS online and participation 25%.


Intensive mode over 3 days.
