SPECIAL NOTE: Music performance requires a significant amount of time spent in regular practice in both solo and group settings. Ensemble work is an important and complementary activity to develop professional performance skill: all students in the performance major will be assigned to Conservatorium ensembles and are required to attend all rehearsals for concert performances. Students are expected to attend masterclasses of visiting artists specific to their field of study (ie classical or contemporary).
