SPECIAL NOTE: This unit is restricted to qualified social workers who are currently supervising social work student(s) on field placements.
Students undertaking this unit will be social work field educators who are currently supervising one or more social work students in their field placements. Students will develop specialised and applied knowledge and skills relevant to field education in social work, professional standards, accreditation requirements and successful completion of social work placements.
ASSESSMENT: Fieldwork preparation (20%); Learning Plan development (20%); Progress Report 1 (30%); Final Placement Report (30%)
TEACHING PATTERN: Online learning and teaching re supervisory-related activities and requirements for successful completion of social work students on placement
