SPECIAL NOTE: Internships may require agreements between the University and the placement agency. Students MUST obtain the approval of the relevant course coordinator before enrolling in this unit
This unit permits students to undertake an internship or work placement as part of their postgraduate studies. Internships vary across programs in the School of Social Sciences but may (for instance) be undertaken in a number of public sector agencies, as a Parliamentary internship, or in partnership with other bodies. Students interested in an internship should contact the relevant course coordinator for details about which opportunities may be available in any given semester.
Units are offered in attending mode unless otherwise indicated (that is attendance is required at the campus identified). A unit identified as offered by distance, that is there is no requirement for attendance, is identified with a nominal enrolment campus. A unit offered to both attending students and by distance from the same campus is identified as having both modes of study.
