The Partners in Health Board has responsibility for directing the strategic partnership. All key decisions are made by the Partners in Health Board.
The role of Chair is independent to the Partners. The Chair of the Partners in Health Board is Ms Mary Bent. She is assisted in this role by the two most senior representatives of the partner agencies on the Board (either of which act as Board Chair if the Chair is absent).

The Chair of the Board also receives support from two Board Members who have been appointed as Executive Directors, with responsibility for operationalising, the decisions of the Board and progressing the Partnership agenda.
