Preceptors, facilitators and field educators play a vital role during Professional Experience Placements.
They assume the role of teacher during the practical training period. Most people who undertake this role have trained as practitioners, not as teachers, and having to teach in the uncontrolled environment of the clinical practice setting adds complexity to the task of teaching.
This page contains resources to assist with the clinical supervision of students on placements.
If you have any resources that you would like to contribute to this page, please contact your Placement Co-ordinator
