About Us
HealthIT delivers tailored IT services and support to the Faculty of Health Science and the Menzies Research Institute Tasmania.
HealthIT staff work to ensure Information Technology is used efficiently and effectively by clients, while supporting their Research and Learning & Teaching needs.
HealthIT work in partnership with ITS to support the University's mission on the delivery of ICT.
We currently deliver
- Support services to around 1000 desktop computers including Windows PC's, Apple Mac's and iPad's.
- Support for related Faculty of Health Science and Menzies Research Institute Tasmania business systems associated with client activities in Research and Learning & Teaching.
- Facilitate ICT client orders in partnership with ITS's procurement business.
- Provide selected database and system development to meet client needs
- Monitor and apply ICT security for client systems in partnership with ITS's security policies.
- Provide the FHS and MRIT with focused IT resource management to meet client needs.
- Provide Help Desk function to ensure priortised management of client IT support requests.
