Clinical Academic and Honorary Appointments

Titles

Clinical Academics are Clinicians and other Health Professionals who contribute to the teaching and/or research programs of Medicine and Paramedicine.

Honorary Academics are non-health professionals who contribute to the teaching and/or research programs of Medicine.

Appointment entitles a Clinical or Honorary academic to a number of benefits including access to the UTAS Library and IT resources for University purposes, and access to any available University discounts.

Application Process

All applications should be discussed with the Associate Head, Medicine or Paramedicine in the first instance.

Applicants should complete the Nomination/Renewal Form and have the Head of School complete the required section of the form. Applicants seeking new or renewal of honorary positions with a title of Associate Professor or Professor should also complete the HonoraryAssoc Prof/Prof Form (RTF 59 KB). The completed application is to be returned to the Executive Assistant to the Head of School (contact below).
