Tourism and Neuroscience research take top billing at the 5 Minute Research Pitch finals

Early to mid-career researchers in Tourism and Neuroscience took out the top spots at the 5 Minute Research Pitch (5RP) University of Tasmania final held, on Friday 2 November 2018.

A total of fifteen researchers from across the University competed in the 5RP competition, with six progressing to the final and two winning a place in the National Final.

Alison Dunn from the College of Business and Economics and Emma Eaton from the College of Health and Medicine each won $1000 in research funding and an all-expenses paid trip to represent the University in the National Final at the University of Southern Queensland in Brisbane, later this month.

The 5RP competition involves researchers delivering a five-minute presentation of their current or recently completed research with the aid of three PowerPoint slides.

Congratulations to all of the researchers who participated and thanks to everyone who supported the initiative.

The 5RP National Final will be available to watch via live streaming at this link from 10am AEST on Monday 19 November.
