New Zealand Students (residing in Australia)
Please note that New Zealand citizens residing in Australia are eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP) however they are unable to defer any tuition fees under the Australian HECS-HELP scheme.
New Zealand Students (residing in New Zealand)
If you are successful in your application to study the Dementia Care Program you will be considered a Domestic student, however, you will be allocated a full fee paying domestic place. Current legislation does not allow for New Zealand students studying in New Zealand to be eligible for a Commonwealth Supported Place (CSP).
Fees for International Students
International Students studying in the Dementia Care Program in 2018 will receive a 50% discount on tuition fees for any Dementia Care Program units studies in 2018. The full cost per unit is currently approximately AU$1950*, meaning that your cost will be reduced to around AU$975 per unit. You will be required to pay for one unit upfront before you can actually enrol in any units in the Dementia Care Program. You will be invoiced for any remaining units that you choose to enrol in at a later date.
Student contribution or tuition fees will be invoiced to you automatically via eStudent once you have enrolled in the units you wish to study.
To view your invoice, login to your eStudent, and click on the Email My Tax Invoice button under the Finance tab.
Student Services and Amenities Fee (SSAF)
The Fees Unit coordinate the invoicing and collection of this fee only. We can answer all your questions in regards to your SSAF invoice and the payment of this fee.
Please note: SSAF is currently incorporated into the annual rate for International students. A separate SSAF charge does not apply to International students in 2017.
