Bachelor of Psychology

Since primary school I had always wanted to pursue further education after college. I decided that the University of Tasmania was the right choice for me because it was the most convenient place for me to study, and I got to be close to my family.

Before deciding on where to study, I had attended information sessions held on-campus by the University of Tasmania staff and students. These sessions allowed me to talk to current students about their experiences and made choosing where to study an easy decision. Picking the Bachelor of Psychology was easy because it contains subjects that I enjoy and find really interesting.

My favourite unit so far has been Psychology because I find it extremely interesting and I am always engaged when it comes to lectures and tutorials.

My main goal from studying at the University of Tasmania is to become qualified and use what I've learnt to help others. My advice for future students is to read. Read everything. Read all the time, and it doesn't hurt to attend PASS sessions!
