History The History discipline offers an Honours program. History students with the requisite grades are encouraged to undertake an honours degree. The History Honours program is a program in which students with a love of the past and an enthusiasm to learn will immerse themselves in the History discipline. They will be working alongside staff and other students who also share a dedication to History. By the end of the program they will have gained a close familiarity with both the specialities of their research and course-work topics and also some broader theories and methodologies of the History discipline in general.
