School of Human Life Sciences
The School of Human Life Sciences is based at the Launceston campus of the University of Tasmania and provides education in human biology and related life sciences from undergraduate to doctoral level.
The School offers five undergraduate programs; Bachelor of Biomedical Science, Bachelor of Health Science, Bachelor of Exercise Science, Bachelor of Health Science (Environmental Health) and Bachelor of Health Science/Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science. The School is proactive in the development of links with other Universities to further develop options for Bachelor of Health Science undergraduates to meet emerging workforce needs.
In addition the School offers a Postgraduate Diploma of Medical Laboratory Science and Master of Biomedical Science for students with a previous degree in Health Science, Science or health related disciplines.
Honours, Masters and Doctoral level students contribute to the School's dynamic research programme in the areas of Haematology, Antimicrobial Resistance, Nutrition, Lifestyle & Disease, Vanilloid Pharmacology, Renal Disease and Exercise.
