The School of Human Life Sciences, University of Tasmania and the Tasmanian Branch of the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists (AIMS) are coordinating interactive laboratory tours from the 7th to 16th of March 2012 to coincide with Pathology Week. It is an exciting opportunity for students in years 11 and 12 from Tasmanian Schools and Colleges to find out what happens on the inside of a diagnostic laboratory, to see how blood tests are performed and to find out more about careers in pathology and medical science.
Pathology laboratories throughout Tasmania will be hosting interactive 90 minute tours. These will include the following;
Interactive Pathology Week Tours will be conducted through the following Tasmanian laboratories:
Tours will commence at 3pm at each of the laboratories.
Students are invited to register for a Pathology laboratory tour by clicking on the link above and submitting the on-line application form. Applications close Monday 27 February 2012.
