Research by this group focuses on the role of exercise in healthy ageing, and in the prevention and management of chronic disease.
The group is experienced in conducting observational and short and long term exercise intervention trials taking a range of physiological and biochemical measures. Members of the group regularly collaborate with other research groups within the School, the university, and external organisations.
