The 2013 Primoris humanus vita scientia challenge is now underway involving all first year Human Life Sciences (HLS) students. All first year HLS students who attended Orientation Day formed teams as part of the Challenge and completed their first Challenge quiz. Challenges will continue throughout 2013 and so make sure you engage in the activities with your team. This year we have 14 teams competing for the 2013 title!
The Challenge leaderboard has been uploaded to the website - check the Leaderboard to see how well your team is doing. At the moment, Motoring Neurons has motored into first place just in front of Mostly Males who are closely followed by Crazy Scientists, Safety First and Anatomical Beasts and the other teams are not far behind!
Our next Challenge event will be held on Monday 18th March at 1pm in C135/C137 and is an opportunity for all teams to gain points for the Challenge as well as learn more about being a first year student in the School of HLS including some information on assignment feedback. All teams are encouraged to attend the next event which will include, of course, a free lunch and door prizes! The members of the team that won the first Challenge quiz (Motoring Neurons), will receive a prize if they attend this event. But no matter where your team is on the leaderboard, come along and enjoy the next interactive Challenge activity, have a chat to students and staff and, hopefully, have some fun!
You can use your discussion group board on the CXA171 MyLO site to interact with your team members and remember to RSVP to Lisa Waters (Lisa.Waters@utas.edu.au) if you are attending the March Challenge event. Hope to see you there!
Tracy.
