On Friday 19 September 2014, the School of Health Sciences, Launceston campus of the University of Tasmania is holding a Taster Day for Grade students showcasing the following degrees to interested science students;
The aims of these workshops are to provide students who are interested in health science an opportunity to find out more about the degrees offered by the School of Health Sciences and future career paths. The Workshops will be run by academic staff teaching in the above degree courses, with a focus on “hands-on” activities related to the types of activities that are part of studying and working in these fields.
I would appreciate your cooperation in advising year students who would like to experience interactive workshops in the health science fields of the availability of the information kits online. Please note all information including a movie showcasing the content of the workshops is available as part of this website.

Due to limited spaces students are invited to submit an application form including workshop preferences by Friday 22 August 2014 electronically. Students will be notified whether they have been selected to attend the Health Science Taster Day by Friday 05 September 2014.
