On Friday 27 August 2010 50 science students from around Tasmania experienced hands on workshops at the Health Science Taster Day held at the School of Human Life Sciences, Launceston.
The full day of Interactive workshops included the areas of Biomedical Science, Exercise Science, Environmental Health, Cell Biology, Health and Nutrition, and Medical Imaging. In addition to participating in the activities students found out more about studying the health sciences and future careerpaths in their field of interest. Students received a high standard of tuition from Academics working at the School of Human Life Sciences and enjoyed morning / afternoon tea and lunch provided by the School.
