Pathology Week interactive laboratory tours for Grades 11 and 12 students - coming soon!
The School of Human Life Sciences, University of Tasmania and the Tasmanian Branch of the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists (AIMS) are coordinating interactive laboratory tours from the 7th to 16th of March 2012 to coincide with Pathology Week. Year 11 and 12 from Tasmanian Schools and Colleges are invited to apply for one of the tours to find out what happens on the inside of a diagnostic laboratory, to see how blood tests are performed and to find out more about careers in pathology and medical science. Tours will be conducted in laboratories in Burnie, Launceston and Hobart.
