PAPER SUBMISSION for AusWIT2003

Submission Process

Papers should be clearly identified as intended for the refereed or non-refereed section of the conference.  All papers must be submitted electronically in Word or PDF format and should be emailed to

AusWIT2003@infosys.utas.edu.au by 6th December, 2002

All papers will be reviewed by the program committee.  In addition, refereed papers will be double-blind, peer-reviewed and clearly identified within the conference proceedings.  Authors of accepted papers will be notified 6th January, 2003

Final papers and registration of presenters will be required by 27th January, 2003.  Papers will only be published if at least one of the authors registers for, and attends, the conference.

Initial Submission of Papers for Refereeing 

Submit your research, research in progress or case study paper by 6th December, 2002 by emailing it to auswit2003@infosys.utas.edu.au. Papers will be published on CD-ROM. 

Papers should be set out as per the Instructions for Authors.  The Instructions for Authors is available in Microsoft Word DOC format. 

Please name your file by the type of the paper with the first author’s surname (e.g. if the last name of the first author is Smith, name your file:

"case smith.doc" for a case study
"paper smith.doc" for a research paper
"progress smith.doc" for a research in progress paper 

Authors should only submit electronic versions of their papers. 

Papers should be submitted in either Microsoft Word or PDF formats. 

You will receive confirmation of your submission by email within 7 days. Please contact auswit2003@infosys.utas.edu.au if you do not receive anything. 

Notification of acceptance. It is anticipated that acceptance/rejection notices will be emailed out by 6th January 2003. 

Further Details: 

All papers will be peer reviewed by at least two referees and an associated editor. 

Submissions to AusWIT2003 must neither have been published already nor presented at another conference. Further, they must not currently be under consideration for publication or presentation elsewhere.
