Course breakdown

Master of Pharmaceutical Science

200 credit points

In Year 1, you will complete four coursework units (25 credit points each) focusing on hands-on training of various laboratory techniques and their applications to identify knowledge gaps in the fields of pharmaceutical science.

In Year 2, you will complete two research units (50 credit points each) focusing on research-based resolution of patient-oriented real-life pharmaceutical or clinical problems.

Graduate Diploma of Pharmaceutical Science

100 credit points

In Year 1, you will complete four coursework units (25 credit points each) focusing on hands-on training of various laboratory techniques and their applications to identify knowledge gaps in the fields of pharmaceutical science, cell culture, and immunohistology.

Study Experiences

As a graduate you will emerge with a solid grounding in laboratory based methodologies. You will gain hands-on technical skills using specialised instruments, and enhance your critical thinking and problem solving skill set. You will also be able to develop and present your research findings to a range of audiences.

This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills to gain employment within pharmaceutical related industries. This course can also lead directly into further research by progressing on to a PhD.

Throughout this course our teaching staff will help you to find meaningful pursuits of excellence by pairing your interest areas with real world clinical and pharmaceutical problems.
