Honours @ IRD

The IRD offers an Honours program in Regional Resource Management on the Cradle Coast campus on behalf of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology (via the School of Land and Food).

Previous honours projects undertaken have covered topic areas such as:

  • Wind farms and community engagement
  • Regional Forest Agreement in Tasmania
  • Community development in developing nations
  • ICT and Broadband
  • Land use planning
  • Local government
  • Niche agriculture
  • Community gardens

Students from outside of regional development programs are also welcome to enquire about studying with the IRD.
