- BAA506 Learning Through Practice A (Workplace)
This unit allows students to put their work experience into practice with the subject recognising students with over 5 years’ work experience have already gained invaluable knowledge and skills. They will be given the tools and frameworks to understand what skills they have learned, what capabilities they have developed and how these might be applied.
- BAA508 Regional & Community Development
Regional & Community Development at the post graduate level provides a thorough understanding of regional and community development approaches and practices. Students also have the chance to apply theory and practice to a real-world problem of their choice.
- BAA515 Financial Decision Making for Managers
The unit aims to develop your ability to interpret and use financial information as a manager. It is concerned with developing your understanding and stimulating your interest in financial and accounting concepts, issues and problems rather than with educating you to undertake the role of a professional accountant.
- BAA516 Governance & Partnerships
This unit goes beyond the concept of governance, looking at partnership approaches within government; between governments, between government and business, and between government and communities.
- BAA517 Innovation, Place & Entrepreneurship in Regions
This unit looks at the emerging inter-relationships between innovation, place and entrepreneurship, and specifically the roles of relationships, local knowledge and liveability in fostering regional competiveness and innovation.
