Do you work in the arts or want to utilise the arts in your work? Arts in Conversation is a great chance to learn about services and support for the arts, discuss your professional development needs and catch up with others working in the sector. Friday 30th March, 2012, 12.00 onwards.

1. What are some of the services available for NW artists?(Presentations: 12.30 – 1.45 pm)
UTAS is proud to host four presentations from organisations offering assistance to the Arts in the North West Region:
- Arts Tasmania & arts@work
- Australia Business Arts Foundation
- Tasmanian Regional Arts
- Tasmanian Writers Centre
2. How can the Arts create opportunities for other sectors? (Open forum : 2.15 - 4.45 pm)
Are you an artist working with community? Do you work for other sectors such as Education, Health, Tourism or Environment and want to work with the arts? Do you have any thoughts on what makes a good arts project, or do you work in this area and wonder what training or support there is for artists working with people in the community? This is an open space forum which explores the barriers and opportunities for the Arts and other sectors to work together.
3. As we host the next arts@work Arts Industry Drinks (AID) (5.00 - 7.00 pm)
Relax, socialise and meet new people at the arts@work next Arts Industry Drinks, to be hosted by the Cradle Coast campus in the Atrium Gallery.
arts@work will buy your first drink and then it will revert to a cash bar.
