Developing a Value Assessment and Development (VAD) Framework for Agriculture in Rural Regions
An exciting new research study exploring how to account for the role of agriculture in regional development was commissioned by the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation (RIRDC) and completed in early 2014. The study, a collaborative effort among the Tasmanian Institute of Agriculture, the Institute for Regional Development and the Tasmanian School of Business and Economics, developed a Value Assessment and Development Framework that can be used to assess current and future potential contributions of agriculture to regions. Thank you to everyone involved in this successful study.
