UTAS maintains a wired data network that covers all UTAS-occupied buildings. The wired data network supports the connection of desktop and laptop computers as well as VOIP telephones. The wired data network provides the medium for the connection to all ICT services within UTAS and also provides a connection to the Internet.

The Service Desk will support the customer with the registration and configuration of the network connection. The Service Desk will also support the customer with connection issues or service failure.
The customer will be advised via their normal UTAS email address of any planned or unplanned interruptions to service.
