Email discussion lists are a popular means of discussing issues or keeping members of a group informed. The Majordomo mailing list software is used to manage email discussion lists at the University of Tasmania.
Staff, and student clubs or societies may request the creation of Majordomo discussion lists.
Student clubs or societies need to complete the "Clubs and Societies - WWW Area and Mailing List Application" form, available from the Service Desk to request the creation of a mailing list.
Student clubs and societies require the authorisation of either the Tasmanian University Union or the Student Association to operate a Majordomo mailing list.
