Voice Communications is responsible for the maintenance and development of the University’s telephony network, a statewide, private telephone network which provides high quality, low cost telephone and voice mail services to end-users across the state.
Please complete the Telephony Services form available from https://eforms.utas.edu.au to request all telephone services. for new services, cancellations and changes to existing services.
Mobile telephones purchased by the University for business purposes are covered by the University Corporate Mobile Telephone Plan. To request a new mobile service, or a change to an existing service complete Telephony Services form available from https://eforms.utas.edu.au. The form contains cost and contract details for all available plans.
Please note that the authorisation sent to our mobile handset provider (which contains the handset model, plans, and costs) will contain a Fringe Benefits Tax Declaration that will need to be filled out and signed by the mobile user at the time of collecting their new handset. The declaration reads:
