Computing and Distributed Systems (CaDS) consists of two key teams (Systems and Client Services) which together deliver a large range of services central to Information Technology Services (ITS).
Broadly, CaDS is responsible for managing UTAS's central server infrastructure and High Performance Computing facilities (Systems), as well as providing a range of client support services to administrative, research and academic units across the University (Client Services). The area is also instrumental in leveraging new ICT technologies and implementing computing best practice as they evolve.
For information of the key responsibilities of each area within CaDS please visit the Systems and Client Services pages.
