Management Information Systems (MIS) is responsible for the support, development and management of a wide variety of applications systems and related services provided by Information Technology Services (ITS). More specifically MIS’ core focus is:

The provision of an on-premise data cloud to UTAS staff seeking to better protect, value add and share crucial data.
Delivery of MIS’ functions is managed by four distinct units which operate in simultaneously to deliver services. These units are:
Application Development & Support – Focuses on the use of agile methods to build custom web applications tailored to fit specific business objectives and requirements.
Management Information Reporting Unit (MIRU) – Collates student, course, unit and staff data for trend and aggregate reporting. Prepare and publish UTAS analysis reports and DEEWR annual reports.
