The State Archivist has recently authorised a change to the guidance contained in the introduction to Records Retention & Disposal Schedules.
The changes are relating to records affecting indigenous individuals and communities to provide more specific and useful instruction to officers sentencing records.
The State Archivist does not intend to re-issue all authorised schedules as the attached document is now the formal statement on the issue and governs the application of all schedules.
