The Tasmanian Archives & Heritage Office annually requests samples from our University Register of Records Destroyed. This audit is central to the accountability process built into the schedule procedures and is a requirement that the University must adhere to. Each business area is responsible for maintaining their own register, with a copy provided to the Records Management Unit for reporting purposes.
Those areas of the University who have not forwarded their 2009/2010 Returns to the Manager, Records & Information please do so by the end of June.
An information sheet on the Register of Records Destroyed is available from the RMU web page
The Register template is on the RMU web site under Disposal, don't forget to include your Institute / Section / Faculty or School's name.
