Staff who are involved in archiving projects or interested in historical archives should be aware that the Hobart office of the National Archives of Australia has relocated to the State Library building.
The Hobart office of the National Archives of Australia has moved to 91 Murray Street (the State Library building). It is now co-located with and shares a reading room with the Tasmanian Archive and Heritage Office. The new telephone number is 6233 9046. The reading room hours are 9.30am to 5pm, Wednesday to Friday.
