Dear Staff and Students,
Please be advised that a spam email is currently circulating the University's email system and soliciting account information from University members. The message claims that an email upgrade was undertaken and an unusual response code is requesting deactivation of the account. The message goes on to ask the recipient to confirm their details via a web page.
It has been seen in the following form:
Deactivation of Your Webmail Account.
Kindly note that we recently did some upgrade on our database.
During the upgrade there was an unusual responds code from your email account requesting for deactivation. Click the secure login link below to Verify to deactivate or keep your email account active.
