To assist readability, headings need to follow a structured hierarchy, with a clear distinction between heading sizes.
Sentence case, which has a capital at the beginning of sentences and the initial letter of proper nouns in capitals, is the preferred style for headings:
Headings must not include punctuation (i.e. a full stop or colon) at the end of the heading.
Use bullet points to break up content, especially on websites, for ease of readability.
