Web Services supports website authors at UTAS by conducting web support forums and providing workshops on a variety of topics. Regular workshops are held for staff who have recently had sites moved or developed in the UWCMS MySource Matrix.
Web Support Forums are held two to three times a year on the Sandy Bay and Newnham campuses and on request at the Cradle Coast or other locations. Web Support Forums cover the latest developments in Web & Learning Services as well as provide an opportunity for questions, answers and networking. The presentations from the last round in September 2011 is available for download: Web Support Forum September 2011 (PDF 8MB).
Websites are currently being migrated into our new UWCMS MySource Matrix. The workshops provided by Web & Learning Services enable UTAS staff to edit and maintain their respective websites.

The UTAS Web Kiosk is the primary source of HR information for employees and managers. Extracting payroll, leave and employment details from the HR system, it provides staff with up-to-date payslips and leave balances and the ability to request leave, submit timesheets and change contact details. Additionally the Kiosk provides the outlet for managers to view and approve leave requests and timesheets, view information about reporting employees and extract leave and occupancy reports.
The 1 hour training session will incorporate a walkthrough of Kiosk functionality for employees and managers, including common issues and errors, a look at the new eRecruitment functionality and a question and answer session using the online development environment to illustrate specific queries.
