Free Online IT Training for Staff and Students

A wide range of IT training materials are available to university staff and students. Courses can be accessed either on or off campus, using your university email account user name and password as authentication.

Alternatively the ICDL CDs can be borrowed from the Library.

	International Computer Drivers Licence (requires authentication) The International Computer Drivers Licence (ICDL) tutorials provide a structured introduction to; Word Processing, Spreadsheets, Database, Presentation (PowerPoint) and Communication (email and the Internet). The tutorials follow the ICDL syllabus. If you wish you can take the ICDL certification tests, which are administered by the Library, contact Mark Byrne email: ICDL.Enquiry@utas.edu.au Phone: 03 6324 3990. With Shockwave 9 installed these tutorials produce an error. Ignore it, and the tutorials will play.
