Purchase Option
Under this option University organisational units can take advantage of our purchasing leverage to purchase hardware and printers on a cost recovery basis.

Quotes available for lease or purchase from Procurement Services or at the apple website through personal purchases link, TAFE or university faculty, administration, or staff member
Leasing Options
Standard Lease
Currently, the lease scheme makes desktop computers, laptops and servers available to departments, faculties and schools within the University on a 3-year lease basis. Equipment coming off lease may be redeployed within the University for a further 2-year period where no cost for hardware is incurred.
Leasing with full support
Full IT support is available to departments, schools and faculties and equipment is supplied along with initial setup and installation, scheduled software upgrades and some hardware upgrades as required over the duration of the lease period. Costs for this option are hardware, support fee and the administration charge across the lease period.
Leasing with no support
This option is frequently taken up by departments/schools/faculties with their own IT support staff and that wish to spread their costs. Cost is hardware plus an administration charge over the 3-year lease period. |
