You may apply for residency at any time. Applications are considered immediately and successful candidates are sent a letter of offer, a Residential Agreement and other important information.

A range of Residential Agreements is available:

• academic year (new residents - 39 weeks between February and November)
• academic year (returning residents - 38 weeks between February and November)
• academic year + summer (for an agreed 50 week period)
• per semester (special circumstances only)

Subject to room availability, residents can arrive early or remain in residence after their agreement.

An offer to Jane does not guarantee a place at the University of Tasmania, nor vice versa.
