Education should be memorable for the right reasons. It should also be practical, challenging and fun. Unfortunately, the traditional legal education method often fails in these respects because of its tendency to focus on the teacher and the subject matter more than the student. Professor Lyons will show how legal educators can move away from the 'chalk and talk' method towards a more engaging, interactive and student focused one.

Professor Peter Lyons has been a specialist advocacy and dispute resolution trainer since 1995. He has written and delivered major legal education programs, including "Training the Trainer" courses in the United Kingdom and other countries. He is the founding director of the awarded CPD Training (UK).
