Known Issues for MyLO 10.1 (PDF 270KB)
An issue has been identified where a number of MyLO notifications have bounced back from their intended recipients. These bounces have occurred for those who have opted to have their notifications sent to email accounts hosted by external providers such as Google, Yahoo, Microsoft Live and Hotmail. Notifications that are bouncing include emails confirming successful submission to dropboxes and news item alerts.
We recommend that the email address you use for notification alerts be directed to your UTAS email account to ensure receipt of all MyLO notifications.
To change your email address, please select the Notifications link within your personal menu in MyLO. On the Notifications page you can change your email address by selecting the “Use system email” option.
For further instructions, please use the Notifications – Set UTAS email guide.

If you are having issues please download the latest version of Java that has just been released (version 1.7.0_13 for OS X Lion). If you are using Snow Leopard please update your Java via the Apple menu.

Please note that MyLO may be used on other browsers but we cannot guarantee the functionality will perform as required.
Please visit the System Requirements page for further information.
We are currently investigating the possibility of integrating WebDav with the Desire2Learn learning environment. In the meantime, it is possible to upload multiple files and folders to MyLO by zipping them up together, and then unzipping them within MyLO’s Manage Files area.
Issue: Using Internet Explorer 8 (IE8) to access embedded non-secure (http://) links in the new MyLO displays a security warning message. If the user selects YES, the content will not load.
Workaround: You can disable this warning message in IE8 so that you can view both secure (https://) and non-secure (http://) content. Please follow the instructions provided in the document below.
