This is the stage where you (and your team):

• actually prepare the teaching/learning materials (text, graphics, images, audio, video, discussion group topics, assessment tasks etc.)
• identify and locate the online resources you will use
• upload the resources as electronic files to MyLO
• create links to the various resources from the unit homepage and/or organiser pages.

It is this stage where you most likely will need technical assistance—and where an educational technologist/web developer will be most handy.

It's also the main stage where you should be considering the usability of your content files and website design in general.

Pre-testing

Prior to delivery, it's crucially important to test your files and website for:

• browser compatibility
• platform compatibility
• broken/malfunctional links.

It's advisable to test electronic files for compatibility and usability throughout the development stage to avoid problems at the end—when time is fast running out!
