Note: A separate request for an online unit must be made for each semester the unit is offered.

Attend introductory training - if you are new to online teaching and/or using MyLO. Teaching online is different to other teaching modes and it is vital that you become familiar with essential concepts and skills first . There are some exemptions/equivalents available for this - see the QA standards (below) for further information. |

Submit a request for an online unit using the MyLO Manager. |

Consult with an Educational Developer - from CALT or Faculty/School (if available). If this is a new online unit, or if you are upgrading an existing unit, an Educational Developer can provide valuable advice on how to build your online unit, and how to integrate online teaching with other modes. |

Design (or update) your online unit . During this stage you should:

Check your online unit against the standards -when it is ready for use by students. Complete and submit the Quality Assurance Checklist online. Your online unit will then be released to students on the date requested. IMPORTANT: Your online unit will not be released to your students until the checklist has been submitted. Therefore the checklist must be submitted well before the online unit is to be released. This applies to new and existing online units. |
