All of your units have intended learning outcomes (see the Unit Outline), and an integral part of identifying whether these have been achieved is through the use of assessment tasks. There are three main tools within MyLO that may be used for assessment in your unit - the ‘Dropbox’ tool, the ‘Quizzes’ tool and the ‘Grades’ tool.

  • You may be asked to submit your Assignments online, and this will usually be done through the use of the Dropbox tool.  You can see your results using the Grades tool.
  • Weekly Quizzes and other online tests and exams may be conducted online using the Quizzes tool.  You can see your results using the Grades tool.
  • To help you check your knowledge and understanding of key concepts, your lecturer may provide you with Self-Assessments, which are like a quiz, but you can see feedback as you go. They also don't formally count towards your final assessment!
