Before you log in to MyLO for the first time, there are a few things that you can do to help make it a productive experience.
Setting up your computer is important, as there are a few technical requirements for making sure all of the features and functions of MyLO work. You may need to change the settings on your computer, or even download and install new software.
Taking some time at the start of semester to organise your computer and yourself can save a lot of it later on when you get busy with assignments and exams.
For now, you can make sure that your computer and/or browser are set up appropriately to enable the new MyLO to work properly by running a 'system check'.
Making choices about your Personal Settings is another useful activity which may have an impact on the way you are able to engage both with other users of MyLO and with the content and activities provided by your lecturers.
