1. Reputation

The Library will:

2.2 In conjunction with the Learning Hub development, review the collections with a view to improving access for clients Launceston Campus Librarian, Morris Miller Librarian, Collection Management Librarian Collections relocated with low use material in storage
2.3 Work to provide flexible training programs in conjunction with FEU Liaison librarian coordinator ongoing Joint induction program for new University staff

3. POSITION

3.3 Review the Library to investigate how current systems and processes will support quality, growth, internationalisation and compliance strategies, and be accountable to, and efficient for users University Librarian July 2004 Identification of areas for improvement of systems and service to clients
3.4 Improve the Horizon system Associate Librarian Commencing Jan 2004 Optimal use of Horizon system providing improved efficiency in use for Library staff, and improved access to resources for clients
3.5 Upgrade Service Centre software Associate Librarian In conjunction with ITR Optimal use of Service Centre system providing improved efficiency in use for Library and ITR staff, and improved service to clients
3.6 Review and improve access to a range of user assistance services delivered through the Library web site Teaching and Publications Librarian, Liaison librarians. December 2004 The range of user assistance services available through the Library web site is well organised, relevant and timely
3.7 develop Library Out-reach Program in consultation with schools and colleges to promote awareness of the University and ease transition Morris Miller Librarian September 2004 School visits well organised and successful Workshops conducted with School Librarians in Hobart and Launceston
