takes you the recommended default Advanced Search page.

Conducting a search
Enter a word or phrase in the first search box
Select the field to search using the drop down menu at the right or
leave as the 'Citation and abstract' default
If you wish to combine search terms, select an operator (AND, OR
etc), then enter a word or phrase in the next search box and select the field
you want.
Further optional limiting of your search is available from the 'More
Search Options' link, which can add significantly to the control
over your search.
Select a Date range option and then proceed to click the 'Search'
button to effect your search.
Clicking
'Search Tips' provides valuable additional assistance
including clarification on the use of truncation and wildcard symbols, use
of quotation marks and Boolean operators.
Managing
your search results
Marking Records
Build a list of records you
want to select by clicking in the box next to the records you wish to add to your 'Marked
List'. The selected list can then be retrieved by clicking on the 'Marked
List' button.
The Marked list page
offers the options of printing or emailing your selections.
You can also exported these records to reference management software such
as EndNote.
Help and training
ProQuest Medline
itself also has a comprehensive 'Help' link, located
in the top right corner of the page, within which you will also find a
link to 'Quick Reference Guide'.
