The University of Tasmania is a participant in the Australian Digital Theses (ADT) program.
This is a national collaborative scheme to establish a distributed database of digital versions of theses produced by postgraduate research students at Australian universities.
NB All UTAS theses added to ADT are also searchable through UTAS ePrints. |

Search for theses and other resources in all major Australian libraries via this database (previously known as Kinetica). |
|
Search the catalogue for the following title:
Union list of higher degree theses in Australian University libraries / edited by Enid Wylie.
OR select “Subject Keywords” from the drop down menu and type in “Dissertations Academic Bibliography".
To identify PdD theses submitted by UTAS authors, select "General Keywords" and type "theses tasmania" and the name of the appropriate school e.g. "theses tasmania geography" will retrieve a list of theses in our library collection, submitted by Geography and Environmental Studies candidates.
Consult a thesis from the Hobart (Morris Miller) Store, by requesting it with this form.

Australian library catalogues
Not all Australian university libraries add their thesis holdings to Libraries Australia. For details view the Australian Higher Degree Theses on the National Bibliographic Database. To access individual library catalogues search Australian Libraries Gateway. Type the name of the university and Select Web Catalogue.

Central access point for Canadian theses and information about the Theses Canada program.
Allows you to search AMICUS, Canada's national online catalogue, for bibliographic records of all theses in Library and Archives Canada's theses collection (stablished in 1965) and provides full text electronic versions of numerous Canadian theses and dissertations. |
