Ask at Client Services Desk for availability

In Cataloguing

Item being catalogued

If required urgently, cataloguing may be fast-tracked and item available within 3 days. Ask at Client Services Desk.

In Bindery

Item sent for binding, back within 6 weeks

Ask at Client Services Desk, item may take some time to become available.

In Process

Item received but not yet catalogued

If required urgently, cataloguing may be fast-tracked and item available within 3 days. Ask at Client ServicesDesk

Item hold expired

Hold period on item has expired

Check shelves, sorting shelves and trolleys or ask at Client Services Desk.

Lost

Item declared lost after extensive staff searching

Check shelves, sorting shelves and trolleys for the item, then try another library or ask your lecturer to order a new copy

Lost Recall

Item unable to be located and another borrower has requested item

Check shelves, sorting shelves and trolleys for the item, try another library or ask your lecturer to order a new copy.

Missing

Item unable to be located, staff searching for item

Place hold on item at Client Services Desk or through the library catalogue

Needed for Reserve

Item to be placed in Reserve Collection

Item will be in Reserve as soon as possible.

Newly Acquired

Item received but not yet catalogued

If required urgently ,Place hold on item through the library catalogue

Not for loan

Item cannot be borrowed
