Although Clark wrote prolifically, few of his writings
were published. His published legal writing included Studies
in Australian Constitutional Law (1901) and articles in the
Commonwealth Law Review. His unpublished works, written in
exercise books for circulation among friends, are extensive and
fall into three broad categories: philosophical essays,
studies on different aspects of the Australian and American Constitutions
and serious legal discourses; there are also two slim volumes of
poetry.
Some examples of his work may be seen on the pages linked
to the menu on the left. See also Clark's
bibliography of writings by Clark as well as recent scholarship
on Clark.
